COVID-19 Information

Due to the continued rise of COVID-19 in Chicago due to the omicron variant, the university is taking the following steps to reduce the risk to students, faculty, and staff while also supporting continued academic excellence.

Virtual Instruction for First Two Weeks of Spring Semester

The university will move to virtual instruction for the first two weeks of the spring semester and return to full in-person instruction on Monday, January 24th. The university will continue to provide normal services to students during this period.

Testing Requirement

Before arriving at campus, students must provide proof of a negative PCR test taken 48 hours before arrival. Directions on how to provide proof of testing will be shared in January.

Booster Requirement

If you are planning to come to campus in the Spring, consistent with current university requirements and applicable exemptions, the university will require all eligible students to receive a COVID-19 vaccine booster. Due to the start of semester moving to virtual instruction, the university is extending the date by which to obtain a booster and submit documentation to January 24th, 2022. If you are vaccinated, the university has said that they will accept all vaccines accepted by WHO. You will be required to show a negative PCR test before you fly. Please check the CDC.gov website for travel updates and requirements prior to arriving in the USA. If you have not been vaccinated you will be required to quarantine upon arrival.

Please check with your local CEG representative for further information and please continue to check the Illinois Tech website for further info as details and requirements change frequently.

At ONCAMPUS Boston 100% of our staff are fully vaccinated, and all our current students at ONCAMPUS Boston are fully vaccinated.

For international students, getting a vaccine is easy – it’s free and you can simply make an appointment at numerous places, including community centres, walk-in clinics and pharmacies like Walgreen’s and CVS.

In Boston nearly 50% are fully vaccinated and  70% have had their first dose. In Massachusetts 54% of the population are fully vaccinated.

If you are planning to come to campus in the Fall, as an international student, Curry College requires you to show proof of vaccine. You can get vaccinated once you arrive in the U.S. and we will support you at ONCAMPUS Boston in getting your vaccine. You will be required to show a negative PCR test before you fly. We recommend that you arrive in Boston between the 12th and 20th August to ensure that you will have enough time to get vaccinated before classes start on 30th August
